[Coffee Shop Talks] Which Fantasy Novels Would Make Binge-Worthy Netflix Series?

I'm sure I could make a list of 10 or 15 fantasy series that I would love to see as TV adaptations, but there is one in particular that I think would be amazing and that's C.L. Wilson's Tairen Soul series. The romance between Elly and the Fey king, the giant Tairen beasts, the intense battles, and the threat of the High Mage of Eld would make an addicting, binge-worthy Netflix series.

For me, it would be a toss up between Ilona Andrews Kate Daniel's series (can you imagine the special effects??) and Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock.

Lost girl is decent so I think Elemental Assassin would fare well. I missed it but how is Shadowhunters? I'd also would love to see Steampunk like Carriger's

Hmmm. I'd have to go through my books to see! I'd say probably Ilona Andrews with their Kate Daniel's series. Oh! Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences as well. :D

I think Elemental Assassin would be great. I think magic transfers really well to TV.

As much as I love Kate Daniels, I just don't know that the weird creatures that those two create can be put on screen without disappointing me. Shifters are really hard too.

I would say The Hollows by Kim Harrison, but I would be worried about how they would handle Jenks.

Jane Jameson/Half Moon-Hollow by Molly Harper would be hilarious.

Great topic.
