[Coffee Shop Talks] Most Memorable Fight Scenes!

Destined for an Early Grave (Night Huntress #4) by Jeaniene Frost
Bones vs. Gregor - This is one of my favorite installments of the series. One reason is because of the suspenseful, nerve-wracking fight scene between Bones & Gregor. Frost almost made me forget that she's not crazy enough to kill off one of her main characters.

Lord of the Fading Lands (Tairen Soul #1) by C.L. Wilson
There is a lot of romance in the Tairen Soul series, but there are also a lot of battles. In my opinion, you can't have a good historical fantasy without plenty of kick ass action scenes. The characters in this series are never afraid of a fight, even when they know that they have no hope of winning. So when a character is trapped in an ambush in book 1, it's hard to feel sad for him because he's elated at the chance to take as many enemies down with him as he can before he dies. It's just one of the many awesome fight scenes in this series.

As usual you have great picks forcing my TBR list to grow since I've yet to read anything by CL Wilson....yet

Top of my head mine would be Mab & Gin Blanco's. And epic fantasies are good sources of fight scenes. I haven't read the books but last season's GoT fight between the Mountain and that handsome Prince who's name I already forgot was fucking epic!!

Now, I've not read either of those. I need to get to them!

I think my most memorable fight scene would be one from Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series. Well, maybe all of them. lol. The magic used in his books blow my mind, and they are amazing to see in action as well.

Good picks. I don't have a favorite but I think any fight in the Kate Daniels series is pretty awesome.
