Enter a world of lies, thrills, fears, and all desires, in this original thriller from A. R. Torre.
I haven't touched a human in three years. That seems like it would be a difficult task, but it's not. Not anymore, thanks to the Internet.
I am, quite possibly, the most popular recluse ever. Not many shut-ins have a two-hundred-member fan club, a bank account in the seven-figure range, and hundreds of men lining up to pay for undivided attention. They get satisfaction; I get a distraction. Their secret desires are nothing compared to why I hide: my lust for blood, my love of death.
Taking their money is easy. Keeping all these secrets - one is bound to escape.
What if you hid yourself away because all you could think of was killing? And what if one girl's life depends on you venturing into society?
This story is seriously sick and twisted and not recommended for just anyone. It's fascinating, but in a morbid way that you're not really supposed to enjoy. It has a protagonist who keeps herself secluded from the outside world because of her obsession with murder. It also has internet sex clients who want a wide, and often weird, range of sexual activities performed. Then there is the "bad guy" who sexually fantasizes about children and a delivery guy who becomes somewhat infatuated with a woman he has never met.
Saying that I liked these things doesn't feel like a fitting description, but I was so engrossed in the story that I couldn't stop listening. I needed to know if Deanna would kill again, what kind of messed up requests her next client would make, and whether the bad guy would get what was coming to him.
Jorjeana Marie did an amazing job narrating this story and all of the character's voices were great. There's just something about her voice that I love and I really enjoyed listening to her.
The Girl in 6E is dark fiction that is both disturbing and erotic at the same time. Recommended for readers who enjoy explicit descriptions of sexual activities (and don't mind hearing the word "cock"...a lot), are not turned off by a protagonist who gleefully fantasizes about murdering anyone who comes to her door, and can handle a pedophilic bad guy. If you read this and find yourself offended, don't say I didn't warn you.
