[Coffee Shop Talks] Promoting Our Blog With Social Media

Social Media...Do you use it to promote you blog? How and on what platforms?

I use social media to promote our blog, but I would give my overall efforts a C-. I don't update Twitter often enough, I get a bit frustrated with Facebook because they want me to pay to expand our audience (even though they've restricted our own fans from what they see), and I rarely use Google +.

Pinterest and my own personal Facebook page are my preferred methods when promoting our blog. You'd be surprised at how much traffic you can draw in with Pinterest book boards.

What social media platforms do you use to promote your blog?

I used my personal FB and personal Twitter. Make FB page will be exhausting and since I manage my blog by myself, I think I had promote my blog enough. I also join BBI, a group of Indonesian blogger. We also have some forum to promote our blog

Facebook is a social media platform I reject the most. I don't have a page, and I rarely use my personal account as well xD I am all over the social media sharing because it attracts the most new followers to my site, and I'm always getting new readers through it. Pinterest works wonders for me, as do google + communities. I also use twitter (less and it's not too reaping in rewards if you know what I mean) and goodreads.
