[Coffee Shop Talks] My Favorite Book Read in July!

Pines isn't really an eye-catching novel. The title is a little boring, the cover isn't impressive, and the synopsis isn't all that exciting. But I'm so glad I took a chance on it because it was fantastic! I loved it! Pines was creepy, suspenseful, and I immediately started listening to book 2 once I was finished. As an added bonus I'll get to watch the story when it airs in 2015.

What's been your favorite read this month?

Our guest this week is the lovely Viviana @ Enchantress of Books!

I'd have to say either Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater, or Visions by Kelley Armstrong. One I read, and one I listened to, so it's ok that I picked 2. ;)

Carmel - I just received a copy of Visions. Can't wait to get started.

Danielle - I stumbled upon it by accident. Never knew of Blake Crouch before then.

Nice! Sometimes it's really awesome when you take a chance and a book turns out to be awesome. About to read your review for The Pines, too.
