[Coffee Shop Talks] The Bookish World I Want to Live in!

Fantasy and sci-fi worlds are fascinating to read about but can be intimidating and occasionally downright frightening when it comes to the thought of bringing them to life. I couldn't actually imagine living as a mortal human in a world filled with vampires, demons, witches, or werewolves. Sure, I could use my imagination and decide to be a paranormal creature, like a werewolf, but I wouldn't want to deal with pack hierarchy. I love vampires as well, but that's another brutal lifestyle I wouldn't want to live.

Normally my answer would be C.L. Wilson's Tairen Soul series. It's a beautiful, magical world and by far one of my favorites. But I decided to go with something I've read this year and the world that I've enjoyed the most is from Rachel Bach's Paradox series.

I would love to explore space, maybe take a job working aboard a spaceship. Traveling to distant planets and meeting its inhabitants would be exciting.

What about you? What bookish world would you want to live in?

I haven't read either series even though I own the CL Wilson's series so I need to start it if it is that great of a world.

The series is on my TBR. I've had a few fantasies about what it would be like to live in space.
