[Coffee Shop Talks] Favorite Books That Are Less Than 200 Pages

I'm always impressed by any author who can write an amazing story in less than 200 pages. I'm usually disappointed by novellas and anthologies because the stories are just too short to really draw me in the way a full-length novel is capable of. But there are always exceptions and with Anne's help I've listed some below.

Genesis (Stand-Alone Novel) | 150 pages

Silver Shark (A Kinsmen Novella) | 106 pages

The Strange Case of Finley Jayne (Steampunk Chronicles Novella) | 83 pgs

Super Bad (Superlovin' #2) | 133 pages

I can't think of any off the top of my head, because I don't read a lot of novellas. I love this week's question though!

That's a tough one. I usually don't like short stories much. Some authors I can think of that write good ones are Meljean Brook and Courtney Milan. I also really like A Wallflower Wedding by Lisa Kleypas. I hear Silver Shark is really good, too, and need to move it up on my TBR list.

Woohoo! Silver Shark would definitely make my list! JA Huss' novellas - both in her Rook & Ronin spinoff series, and her Junco series. Of course, I had been introduced to the characters but I found the novellas to be really satisfying. I'll have to think about others...and look up your other favs while I'm at it. :)
