Interview with Jennifer Armentrout, writing as J. Lynn (Unchained, Nephilim Rising)

Thanks so much for taking the time out to answer some questions for us. We're excited about your new release, Unchained! For those who are hearing about it for the first time, could you share with us what it's all about?
Between the pissed off creatures that want demon-hunter Lily Marks dead and the fallen angel who just...wants her, Lily is about ready to trade forever for a comfy job in a cubicle farm. The fact that she and Julian are civil to one another is enough to have her thrown out of the Sanctuary, but she can't shake her not-so-angelic stalker or how he brings her dangerously close to ecstasy. Her forbidden relationship with Julian provides the perfect fuel for suspicion when a traitor is discovered to be working within the Sanctuary. Lily quickly finds herself hunted by well, everyone. Her only hope is to discover the real traitor before she loses everything—and she'll need Julian's help. That is, if Julian is really there to help her...and not destroy.
Give us three words to describe Lily Marks.
Stubborn, Tough, Lonely
Three words to describe Julian.
Sexy, Protective, Determined
Will the series continue to follow Lily & Julian or will the main characters change with each story?
It will follow Lily and Julian.
You are a writing machine! You have several books that have been released this year and more to come. How much of your time is spent writing and what do you do with your free time?
I write every day for about 8-10 hours.  I don’t feel like I have a lot of free time because when I’m not writing I’m usually still doing something that relates to my writing or my books.
Of all the heroines you've written about, are there any that you'd like to trade places with?
I would probably like to trade places with all of them at some point because of their leading men!
We love recommendations! Could you share with us any good books you've read this year?
I haven’t had a lot of time to read this year because I’ve been writing so much.  I enjoyed Foreplay by Sophie Jordan and A Little Too Far by Lisa Desrochers.

# 1 NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY Bestselling author J. Lynn, who also writes YA under the name Jennifer L. Armentrout, lives in Martinsburg, West Virginia. All the rumors you've heard about her state aren't true. Well, mostly. When she's not hard at work writing, she spends her time reading, working out, watching zombie movies, and pretending to write. She shares her home with her husband, his K-9 partner named Diesel, and her hyper Jack Russell Loki.
