Calie Liddle is BACK! And the series that every Zenescope fan has been waiting for is finally here. When Calie escaped from Wonderland she wanted to believe she was finally free from the realm of madness. She wanted to believe she could live a normal life. But she was wrong. Now Calie and her daughter Violet are on the run from the realm of madness. Meanwhile, a child returns from a carnival with a special hat that will mean murder and chaos for all those who cross his path. The Wonderland ongoing series begins NOW!

Another twisted, gruesome tale in the world of madness!

Calie and Violet are on the run in an attempt to escape the horrors of Wonderland. Calie is desperate to keep Violet safe and is slightly paranoid and overprotective, fearing that the realm of madness will reclaim her daughter the moment she lets her guard down.

You know why it's back. It's back for her. And it won't stop coming till it has her.

Shortly after arriving at their secret destination, Calie begins to see visions of the Hatter. And during a disturbing dream she is told the realm is out of balance and that it's up to her or her daughter Violet to set things right again.

The story is also told from the point of view of a young boy living in a broken home with an abusive father and a mother who doesn't care enough to protect him. He has a magical top hat in his possession and when he finds himself alone he hears a voice that convinces him to wear the hat, promising that no one will ever hurt him again.

Meanwhile, we discover in Wonderland that the Jabberwocky and Hatter were vanquished from the realm by Violet. The Queen of Spades, deciding that she will become the new ruler, seeks out the source of the Jabberwocky's power. Her goal is to create an army powerful enough that no one would attempt to stand against her.

As the story progresses, Calie decides to allow Violet to regain some semblance of a normal life. She attends school, but is under strict instructions to always let Calie know where she is. But during an argument when she locks herself in her room, the Hatter makes his move and Violet goes missing. She is quickly rescued by Calie, but discovers that the Hatter has managed to turn the entire town against them. It all leads to a showdown between Hatter and Calie with the Jabberwocky and Queen of Spades making brief appearances.

Back in Wonderland, the Queen of Spades brings forth a new Queen of Hearts. Unfortunately, she suffers from a severe case of split personalities and while one half of her would like to accept the Queen of Spades' offer, the other prefers to engage her in battle.

At the conclusion, Calie and Violet are back on the run and heading toward Hollywood. We are given a teaser of Wonderland issue #6 and I'm curious to see what's in store for us next.

Sharing the madness . . . it's only the polite thing to do.
