Feature & Follow [21]

Feature & Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.  It is a fun way to meet new bloggers and to keep in touch with bloggers you already know!  Please feel free to follow us via Linky, e-mail or GFC.  If you leave a comment and link, we will visit your blog, too!  Check us out on Twitter:  Cat and Jamie.

Q: Who is your favorite villain from a book?

A:  There are so many villains that I love to hate.  From Valentine and Sebastian from The Mortal Instruments to Walter Thackery from Dreg City, there are too many to count.

A recent villain that comes to mind is Leah from Tarryn Fisher's Dirty Red. She's an expert at lying and conniving. She plays dirty and she plays to win. She is willing to steal and cheat her way to getting whatever she wants, and what she wants most of all, is Caleb.  Here's one of my favorite Leah quotes:

Honesty is sticky, and I hate it.  It always has consequences that f$%k up your life.

I still haven't read The Mortal Instruments, but I hope to start it in the next couple of months. :D My FFs are at Musings on Fantasia and LKHill. Happy Friday!

Great choice. I haven't read that book, but it sounds like I need to go add it to my TBR list! I love a good asshole villain, which is why I chose one that I hated from the minute that he came on the page.
Hope you have a great Friday!

Valentine is an obvious choice, but I've been surprised to see Sebastian also mentioned today. He is just as bad if not worse. In book three I wanted to strangle him!

I don't know who Walter is!!! I've only read the first two Dreg books, bunt now I'll be keeping my eye out for Walter in the next two!!!
