Book Buzz [3]

Welcome to our new feature, where we'll talk about the books we've received for review, the books we've borrowed and bought, and books that we learned about from other blogs. We might also sneak in some posts we read that we feel are worth spreading around the blogosphere.

White Crow found on Rabid Reads' list of new releases
The Ruins of Lace found at Book Savvy Babe
Dirty (Dan and Elle #1) found on the "Best Dark Erotica" list at GR
Ice Forged (The Ascendant Kingdoms Saga) from Edelweiss

Which romance novel billionaire dominates the competition?

Christian Grey? Gideon Cross? According to Heroes and Heartbreakers, it's Roarke.

And here's the top ten reasons why.

Delilah Dawson, the author who gave us Criminy Stain, is giving away a kindle fire and other great prizes. Click here to check out the details and enter.

The movie trailer was released for Beautiful Creatures and I've seen a lot of mixed feelings about it so far.
If you haven't seen it, you can watch it here.

This is something I stumbled across when viewing an artist's page on Deviantart. She's responsible for a lot of amazing covers like Gena Showalter's upcoming release "Last Kiss Goodnight", "Above" by Leah Bobet, and Jenna Black's "Dark Descendant". I haven't yet seen an official cover release for Amanda Stevens' new Lucy November series, so I don't know that this will be the final cover. But I thought it looked amazing, so I had to share. You can click the image for a larger view.

"Enter Lucy November. Has her time finally come? Is there a place in indie fiction for an Austin funeral videographer/corpse cosmetician who moonlights as a psychopomp?"

Click here for more details about "The Garden of Perpetual Slumber".

That cover for the Garden of Perpetual Slumber is amazing. I didn't even know that Amanda Stevens had a new series coming out.
