Q:    Christmas in July! Someone gives you a gift card for two books (whatever that costs). What two books will you buy?

A: This first book I would buy is Ann Aguirre's Endgame. It is my most anticipate novel for the second half of 2012 and I am rubbing my hands together in anticipation. After the way Aftermath ended, I've been counting the days down until Endgame is released.

The second book I would buy would be a first edition copy of A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. Overall, it is one of my favorite two books of all time. I own a children's illustrated version of the book that date back to the 1890s, but I would love nothing more than to have a 1859 original first edition copy.

What books would you buy? We'd love to hear your comments!

While visiting please check out and enter our latest hop, the Hot Summer Nights giveaway!

I would give my left pinky finger for a copy of Endgame. Then again, I think I'm going to wait since it's the last book of the series :(

Hopping through. I liked A Tale of Two Cities when I was 15. I should reread it. I think I'd like it much more now.
