Feature & Follow [20]

Feature & Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.  It is a fun way to meet new bloggers and to keep in touch with bloggers you already know!  Please feel free to follow us via Linky, e-mail or GFC.  If you leave a comment and link, we will visit your blog, too!  Check us out on Twitter:  Cat and Jamie.

Q:    Christmas in July! Someone gives you a gift card for two books (whatever that costs). What two books will you buy?

A: This first book I would buy is Ann Aguirre's Endgame. It is my most anticipate novel for the second half of 2012 and I am rubbing my hands together in anticipation. After the way Aftermath ended, I've been counting the days down until Endgame is released.

The second book I would buy would be a first edition copy of A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. Overall, it is one of my favorite two books of all time. I own a children's illustrated version of the book that date back to the 1890s, but I would love nothing more than to have a 1859 original first edition copy.

What books would you buy? We'd love to hear your comments!

I would give my left pinky finger for a copy of Endgame. Then again, I think I'm going to wait since it's the last book of the series :(

Hopping through. I liked A Tale of Two Cities when I was 15. I should reread it. I think I'd like it much more now.

Love the cover of Endgame. I'll have to check into that series. Can you believe I've never read The Tale of Two Cities?! I'm planning on reading some classics when I get caught up, so I'll be sure to add this one to the list.

Have a great Friday!
