Feelin' Lucky Giveaway Hop (3/7 - 3/13)

Huge shout out goes to I Smell Sheep (one of my absolute favorite blogs) and the awesome Fictional Candy. Thank you for hosting this giveaway and creating such a lovely button. It is very much appreciated.

We'll be choosing two winners for this giveaway.
One winner will receive a paperback copy of the book I've chosen and one will receive a paperback copy of the book that Jamie has chosen. Thank you to everyone who enters.
Good luck and have fun =)

So here we are, another giveaway and so many books to choose from. Often times it's difficult for me to decide on what I want to share with my fellow addicts.

But this is the Feelin' Lucky Hop and few characters know luck better than Corine Solomon's Chance, who has the unusual talent of, well...luck.

And that's why I'm giving away the first book in the Corine Solomon series, Blue Diablo by Ann Aguirre.

"Right now, I’m a redhead. I’ve been blonde and brunette as the situation requires, though an unscheduled color change usually means relocating in the middle of the night. So far, I’m doing well here. Nobody knows what I’m running from. And I’d like to keep it that way…"

Eighteen months ago, Corine Solomon crossed the border and wound up in Mexico City, fleeing her past, her lover, and her “gift”. Corine, a handler, can touch something and know its history—and sometimes, its future. Using her ability, she can find the missing—and that’s why people never stop trying to find her. People like her ex, Chance…

Chance, whose uncanny luck has led him to her doorstep, needs her help. Someone dear to them both has gone missing in Laredo, Texas, and the only hope of finding her is through Corine’s gift. But their search may prove dangerous as the trail leads them into a strange dark world of demons and sorcerers, ghosts and witchcraft, zombies—and black magic…

Check out Jamie's giveaway below and then fill out the Rafflecopter for a chance to win.

Since this is a Feelin' Lucky Hop, being held around St. Patrick's Day, I chose a book about the Fae, which are very much related to Ireland.  In old Celtic folk lore, the sidhe (or fairy people) are immortals living in an Otherworld.

The Shadow Reader, one of my favorite books from 2011, is about a Fae tracker and her adventures in the Realm, i.e. the Otherworld.

The Shadow Reader is full of action, betrayal and love.  It is the first in a new series, and if you love UF and PNR as much as I do, you'll want to read this book!

A Houston college student, McKenzie Lewis can track fae by reading the shadows they leave behind. For years she has been working for the fae King, tracking rebels who would claim the Realm. Her job isn't her only secret. She's in love with Kyol, the King's sword-master-but human and fae relationships are forbidden. When McKenzie is captured by Aren, the fierce rebel leader, she learns that not everything is as she thought. And McKenzie must decide who to trust and where she stands in the face of a cataclysmic civil war.
