Wow!! Love the lists..I recognize many of them. Duran Duran used to be plastered on my walls as a tween. Loved Pearl Jam in college. The cool thing... Uncle Tupelo is a local band!! My husband is still friends with many of them. Super cool!!
As for my list.. I have very eclectic tastes.. So here goes...

Mel - Rock on! I'm a HUGE Uncle Tupelo/Son Volt/Jay Farrar fan. Not widely known, but very influential. I listen to a lot of alt. and alt. country that doesn't get much radio air time.
Jess and Anna - believe it or not, Better Than Ezra is still around. I've seen them live at least 6 times and they bring s rockin' show onstage.
Then you need to come to Belleville!! I see Jay about once a year for his nephews birthdays. His wife and my husband's best friend are siblings. He is a nice guy!!
