Most-Loved 2011 Debuts Giveaway - Only 3 Days Left!

Looking back, I've realized that 2011 has been full of fantastic debuts. I've added more than a handful of authors to my "Must Watch" list and many of the authors that I already adore have released impressive new series for me to obsess over. I've also read just as many books that were published before 2011 that have quickly become some of my all-time favorites. Rachel Vincent's Shifters series, The Hunger Games trilogy, The Fever seriesCorine Solomon, and Meljean Brook's The Iron Duke were all new reads for me that I wish I had read back when they first debuted.

While reflecting on all of the exceptional new series released in 2011, I thought it would be a great time to also create my first giveaway. I want to share all of the wonderful reads that I've discovered with my fellow addicts.

There are two giveaway options listed below for the winner to choose from. All books were chosen from my favorite debuts this year. And of course the year isn't quite over yet so I have plenty of time to discover more 4 and 5 star reads before 2012 arrives. As they come along, I will be adding them to the list.

Fill out the Rafflecopter below to enter. Must be a GFC follower and able to receive shipments from the Book Depository if not in the US. US winners will receive their shipment via Amazon 2-day shipping.

Thanks to everyone who enters. Since this is my first giveaway I want to make sure it's successful, so please spread the word!

(Giveaway option 1: Choice of any 4)

(Giveaway option 2: Choice of any 3)

Awesome giveaway - I have some of these books (two from each set), haven't read 'em all yet, but can easily pick out 3 or 4 more ... I prefer the set in Option 1, overall ... there was no mention as to how to choose the option, I guess we choose after winning? Anyway ... thanks for the giveaway!

Sjhkitten said...

My favorite heroine of 2011 would have to be either Patricia Briggs's Mercedes Thompson, or Ilona Andrews's Kate Daniels. I'm leaning towards Kate though, because there are certain thought processes explained throughout the books that I really enjoy reading, such as how she judges/mediates matters for the shapeshifters in the newest book.

Thanks for the giveaway, I love things like this. Even if I don't win, I get awesome ideas for books to look into :).

I'm not quite sure what GFC is, and when I googled it to see if I had done that part correctly, I didn't find anything that was likely what you meant.

Thanks again :D

My choice would be first option of the giveaway, with Diana Rowland's White Trash Zombie, Kristen Painter's Blood Rights, Stacy Jay's Dead on the Delta, and Jenn Bennett's Kindling the Moon.

Edit: I just found out what the GFC thing was, and I've followed you, but I know my information earlier wasn't included, so I'll try to post that again.

Christen - I've gotta remember to read the Kelly Gay series! I'll start it after I finish Dark Descendant and The Renfield Syndrome.

Christi Snow - Thank you! Wow, three days? That's fast reading! But I can't blame you. The Georgina Kincaid series really is good. I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't read the last one yet though.

LilyElement - I loved the second book even more than the first. I'm team Azriel all the way ;)

Ronda - Divergent and Enclave are excellent dystopian reads. I've heard Blood Red Road by Moira Young is also. It's another debut I'm going to try to squeeze into my reading schedule before the month ends ;)

cherthib- Shadowfever was epic! Mac made an awesome heroine.

Na - I agree. Moning did a great job with her character growth and development.

Melissa - Yes, she does! Can't wait for more of Charley in Third Grave Dead Ahead.

Missie1 - Haven't read The Black Sun's Daughter series yet. The covers are certainly eye-catching and the synopsis for the first story sounds interesting. I'll have to check them out. Thanks for entering!

Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!

My fave heroine for 2011 was Georgina Kincaid from the Richelle Mead Succubus series. These are great reads and I really connected with the characters. If you haven't read this series yet make sure to give it a try!

I would read any of the titles listed above (some I already have), so hoping to win and add to my GR "currently reading" list.

This isn't on your list, but it has to be Nyx from God's War by Kameron Hurley. She's a total badass who doesn't take shit from anyone. Thanks so much for hosting this giveaway - I'll definitely be reading your blog in the future! Fantasy definitely needs strong heroines out there, so I'll be looking to you for some recommendations. :D
