Novel News and Teaser Tuesday [6]

The cover reveal for the 12th Sookie Stackhouse novel, "Deadlocked", was recently released.  Despite my issues with the last novel, I'm still excited to dive into another Sookie adventure.

Jill Myles (being the wonderful author that she is) released "Succubus, Interrupted" (Succubus Diaries #3.5) a week early for her newsletter subscribers. She also revealed the cover to "Succubi Are Forever" and comments briefly on getting the story completed.

"Once I have Bluebonnet #2 put to bed, it's all systems go on the long-awaited SUCCUBI ARE FOREVER. I'm so excited to write this book. It's all outlined and rarin' to go - I just need a break in my contracted stuff to get it in, and that break will be this spring! I've already got my editor lined up and waiting for the book, so once I've written 'The End', it shouldn't take much longer to get it out. And since I'm in charge of it, it'll be priced affordably and available on all digital platforms. For print enthusiasts, it'll be available in print too. I wouldn't leave you out!"

I'm very excited to learn about how things play out between Jackie, Zane.. and maybe Noah? I haven't given up on my dream of the three of them having their happily ever after together=)

Now, here's my teaser..

Rules: Open your current read and choose a page at random. Share two sentences from anywhere on the page, being careful to avoid spoilers.
Be sure to share the title and author.
That's it!

My (longer than usual) teaser comes from page 1 of

"Your average museum is a tough nut to break into—the doors are locked and passcoded, the windows wired, the alarm ready to go off at a moment’s notice. Of course, there’s one thing they usually don’t think of—the sun roof. For your average person, this might pose a problem.
Luckily for me, my lover comes with wings."

I wonder how the Southern Vampire Mysteries Series is going to end. I'm with you, the last one was uninspired.
